What is the Highest IT Certification and IT Professional Can Receive
Google Certified Professional IT Support (ITPS) certifications are the highest certifications an IT professional can achieve without a formal degree. An IT PSI is an individual who has completed the highest level of IT training and has the knowledge and skills to help others with their IT issues. This level of knowledge is usually attained after many years of working as a system engineer, systems administrator, or similar role in the IT industry. A person who holds an ITP is often capable of solving IT problems in their own that others may not be able to.
There are three parts to each of the four IT Professional Certifications. Part one is Infrastructure Services, which covers software and hardware maintenance. The second part is Cloud Computing which covers the delivery of virtual resources to run application suites on the network. The third part is Security Infrastructure Services, which covers the implementation of information assurance. The final section of the ITPS curriculum consists of Labs and Training for professional certification.
What is the Curriculum for an IT Professional
The first portion of the ITPS curriculum is Infrastructure Services. This covers hardware and software maintenance including security maintenance. Included in this portion of the ITPS curriculum are installation and implementation of network hardware, configuration management, and troubleshooting operations. A specialist who successfully completes this portion of the ITPS program is considered a competent IT support specialist.
Part two of the ITPS curriculum looks at Cloud Computing. Cloud computing refers to any type of networked computing environment that makes use of storage or servers as a method for data storage and/or bandwidth management. There are a number of advantages to using cloud computing such as; it provides a flexible environment where a provider can easily adjust costs depending upon a number of factors including demand, capacity, and reliability. Another advantage to cloud computing is that it is usually based upon open-source software and can be rapidly deployed within a short period of time. With this option a provider can save money because no capital investment is required. The third advantage to using cloud services is that a specialist doesn’t have to be onsite to provide support to end-users who can take advantage of IT services from anywhere they have internet access.
Security Services is the fourth segment in ITPS curriculum. This portion looks at offering information security services to clients in a hands-on manner. The school will train its support service specialists to work as consultants with clients to help them maintain the security of their networks. They will also work with organizations to develop their information security systems by providing advice on the best practices to achieve maximum security in their systems. It will also instruct students on the detection and prevention of security threats and work to reduce the risk of any vulnerabilities by training their specialists to use common security controls to detect threats and to implement solutions.
Part five of the ITPS curriculum looks at the utilization of IT infrastructure services to enhance business productivity. It offers four options for learners who are looking to enhance their profit margins by expanding their businesses. These include: system administration, virtualization, infrastructure services, and software-based solutions.
Final Steps in Getting Certified for IT Specialists
In ITPS 6, video lectures are offered in classroom sessions. For this course certification candidates are required to attend class sessions at a regular fixed time and be available for discussion. A syllabus provides the text, names, descriptions, and key concepts of each topic. The IT Support professional certificate program consists of fourteen specialized exams covering key IT support functions. Candidates can register for these exams at an online testing center by filling out an online application.
Those who successfully complete the ITPS Six certification course are awarded certificates at the end. ITPS Six provides learners with the foundation knowledge they need to effectively carry out support roles within six months. With this knowledge, those IT professionals who are just starting out or who have limited prior experience can start working on IT issues in businesses that require it. IT professionals who successfully complete this certification course can be confident in their ability to carry out support roles for organizations within a short period of time.
